Provides the basic platform, geographical data handling, various calculators and the station databases and handling of these. PS 2, 3, 4, 23. * The Basic Package includes world-covering geographical databases including height and terrain classifications in a 30 second resolution (appr. 900 m) and place names. The IDWM (ITU Digitized World Map) is also included. SRTM height data (resolution 3 arc seconds, appr. 90 m) and VMAP Level 0 vector data over selected areas can also be included.
Coverage Provides many capabilities related to area coverage applications, including interference and jamming calculations. PS 5.
Interference Provides capability for interference calculations in particular relating to point-to-point and point-to-multipoint systems. PS 6.
Radio Link Performance Provides capability for microwave link performance calculations. PS 7.
Spectrum Viewer Provides a spectrum display of the occupancy in WRAP projects. PS 8.
Collocation Interference Provides capability for interference calculations in confined installations, including intermodulation, harmonics etc. PS 9.
Frequency Assignment Provides automatic and efficient support for manual frequency assignment considering the interference situation. PS 10.
Broadcast Provides interference and frequency assignment calculations for analogue/digital sound and television broadcasting. PS 15.
Earth Station Coordination Provides calculations of earth station coordination contours in accordance with both the old and the new ITU methods. PS 13.
Satellite Network Coordination Provides calculations for coordination between satellite networks in accordance with ITU Radio Regulations Appendix 8. PS 17.
Point-to-Multipoint Provides capability to define network structures and perform many calculations on point-to-multipoint microwave radio systems, such as used for WiMAX and LMDS/BWA/FWA/WLL/MMDS etc. PS 22.
HF Planning Provides calculations of link performance, coverage and frequency management for HF radio systems using ionospheric propagation. PS 19.
Cost and Coverage Optimiser Provides capability to automatically place stations of any type at near-optimum locations to achieve the desired area coverage under cost or number of station limitations. PS 20.
Licence and Coordination Manager Provides functions for licensing, invoicing and administrative management of ITU-defined coordination process. PS 24.
Spectrum Allocation Manager Provides functions for handling of international, regional and national Tables of Frequency Allocations, including footnotes and standards. PS 25.
Map Data Manager Provides functions for converting various formats of geographical data for use in WRAP. PS 26.
Aeronautical Interference Calculates risks of interference from FM broadcasting stations to aeronautical navigation services in the 108-118 MHz band and communication services in the 118-137 MHz band. PS 16.
