Traffic Capacity is a design tool for area-covering networks that calculates the following:
- Cellular networks
- Grade of service (blocking) for given traffic and number of channels
- Maximum traffic for given grade of service and number of channels
- Required number of channels for given grade of service and traffic
- WiMAX
- Over-subscription ratio (OSR)
- Possible number of subscribers and required data rate
- Available data rate at offered traffic load
- Minimum data rate at offered traffic load
